We are a not For Profit Organization promoting WELLNESS using herbal methods and indigenous knowledge. We are convinced that “Health is Wealth” and that “Prevention is better than cure.”
We believe that Wellness should be holistic i.e. body and soul to have “life in full.” (John 10:10). The eight dimensions of Wellness namely: – Spiritual, physical, intellectual, environmental, financial, occupational, social and emotional, should be addressed to realize the life-long aspirations of humanity.
Known as the “Miracle Tree”, Moringa oleifera is one of the most nutrient-dense plants in the world. All parts of the tree, including the leaves, pods, seeds, flower, and roots, provide exceptional nutritional and medicinal value.
The Moringa leaves in particular are extremely nutrient dense. They contain high amounts of essential vitamins and minerals, more so gram for gram than many other traditional food sources.
Achieving optimal wellness and nutrition is the foundation for healthy, thriving individuals and communities. Access to affordable, wholesome foods and healthcare lies at the core of unlocking human potential. However, communities across the developing world often face systemic barriers to meeting essential nutritional needs. From hunger and malnutrition to chronic preventable conditions, the pressing health burdens require holistic, accessible solutions.
At The Soota Foundation, our dedication to community well-being is embodied through a diverse array of programs and initiatives aimed at harnessing the myriad benefits of Moringa. Our holistic approach spans from cultivation practices to nutritional empowerment, with a focus on sustainable community development.
